Train Problems

Explanation : This is pretty simple. remember something that is very handy.Do not remember any formula .

if anyone travel with 1 m/s ,will cover 3600 meter in an hour. and 3600 meter =3.6km so corresponding speed against 1 meter/s is 3.6km/hr
similarly for 5m/s =(3.6*5)km/hr =18km/hr
so remember  uses of formula to convert m/s to km/hr and vice-versa and some train related total length to cross and relative speed

so in every question check for
Relative Speed=  addition of speed if trains are in opposite (think) and difference if they are in same direction
Total length to cross:  train always covers its own length + additional length(standing or running person, pole etc have virtually zero length      ;  platform, tunnel, other trains with their respective length )

so get the appropriate value according to condition and fit into time-distance formula.    Question solved.

1  A train running at the speed of 60 km/hr crosses a pole in 9 seconds. What is the length of t…
