Quicker Maths Example 3

Question The cost of five chairs and 3 tables is rs 3110. cost of one chair is rs 210 less than cost of one table. what is cost of two tables and two chairs.

Answers :

Long description : (after explanation ,you have to discover how we can solve it very quickly )

assume chairs as c and tables as t

assume all are chairs then what you have to pay :  3110-630= 3000 +110 -600-30 = 3000-600 + 110-30 = 2400 +80 = 2480 ( i think you can do it very quickly without confusing )

8 chair price is 2480 and you have to buy two table and 2 chairs means you have to pay like purchase 4 chairs and pay 210x2=420 extra . ( extra pay means you purchased table )

total cost is 2480/2 ( 8chair/2 ) + 420 = 1240 +420= 1660

and answer is rupee 1660 without going through any complex algebra .

if do, can solve much quickly compared to other means .

so is it simple na !

do smart adjustment

here some adjustment done

table converted into chairs +210

2 table + 2 chair = 4 chair + 210 x2

4 chair price got from price of 8 chair directly by getting half
